Meritage Homes, founded in 2005, builds Condominiums and patio homes in the Columbus, Ohio market. They are currently building their first project in Corazon Tartan West located in Dublin. Meritage Homes is owned by Tom Hoying, Bob Hoying, and Brent Crawford (of Crawford Hoying Smith - a large apartment management company in the area). The construction of Tartan West is by Bracket Builders, a company in Troy, Ohio owned by Tom & Bob's father Vern Hoying. Tom oversees the construction of the Tartan West project. Landscaping is done by Edge Group, a company co-founded by former Ohio State running back Eddie George.
